staff Chandigarh, September 4 It also decided to grant higher standard pay scale to Group “C” and “D” non-teaching employees of Government-aided colleges, which will be at par with the government employees with effect from January 1, 1994. The higher standard scale will be given after completion of 10 and 20 years of regular service to these category of employees of government-aided colleges. The scale of Warden has been revised from Rs 1640-2900 to Rs 5450-8000. The scale of lineman has been revised from Rs 4000-6000 to Rs 4500-7000 for future recruitment. The post of Junior Library Assistant will be merged with that of Library Assistant. The pay scale of Research Assistant at HAU will be revised from Rs 3300-3800 and Rs 3750-4375 to Rs 8800 and Rs 10,500 for M.Sc and Ph.D degree-holders, respectively. The scale of packer has been revised with immediate effect from Rs 775-1025 to Rs 3050-4350. In case of Kurukshetra University, the Cabinet revised the scale of Director, Computer Centre, from Rs 4500-7300 to Rs 16,400-22,400 with effect from January 1, 1996, provided the post is filled as per the guidelines of the UGC. The pay scale of the Programmer, Computer Centre, will be Rs 8000-13500 if he has the qualifications as prescribed by the UGC. The scale of Assistant Director, Academic Staff College, has been revised from Rs 2200-4000 to Rs 8000-13500. The scale of Manuscript Copyist has been revised from Rs 2200-4000 to Rs 8000-13500 with immediate effect. |
