2 killed, 45 hurt as truck collides with train Gorakhpur, July 28 The Divisional Railway Manager, North Eastern Railways, Lucknow Division, Mr V.K. Dutt, said the accident took place around 2.40 pm when a truck collided with the Jammu-bound train, about 10 km from here. Due to the collision, the first coach of the train also got derailed. The train was immediately brought to a halt and 18 of the injured were admitted to Railway Hospital, while 15 others to Civil Hospital here. The condition of the three of the injured were stated to be critical. Because of the mishap, the train — going from Gorakhpur to Jammu — was stranded for about two hours and finally moved around 4.30 pm Mr Dutt said.
