The war over Congress President Sonia Gandhi hotted up today, with the BJP declaring that her foreign origin and leadership qualities vis-a-vis Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee would be an issue in the Lok Sabha poll, even as it unveiled a “Mission 2004 Action Plan” to reach out to the minorities.

BBC confirms Kelly gave information

Two days after weapons expert David Kelly was found dead, the BBC today disclosed that he was the source for its controversial report claiming the British Government had “sexed up” a dossier claiming Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction, which was used to justify the US-led war on Iraq.
