India rejects Pak terms for resuming air links

India today said there was no defined “core issue” between New Delhi and Islamabad and rejected Pakistan’s pre-condition of giving guarantees for resuming air links. “There is no defined core issue between India and Pakistan and we will go according to the composite dialogue process which has been agreed to by the two countries.

BJP ready to consider law on Ayodhya

In a bid to mollify a restive VHP, the BJP top brass tonight agreed to consider a legislation for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, an issue outside the NDA agenda, at its National Executive next week even as saffron outfit resiled from its demand for Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s resignation.
