Suresh Oberoi booked in assault case

Mumbai, June 26
The police booked film actor Suresh Oberoi today on the charge of slapping a labourer following a brawl over construction at his residence here. 

The complaint, filed by civil contractor Sanjay Arora, alleged that Oberoi slapped one of his labourers, Kunni, on June 24.

According to the contractor, Oberoi instructed the labourer to pick up a sack of sand, but when the labourer, failed to carry out the order, the actor struck him on the face. — PTI
