5 more arrested in Pandya murder case

Ahmedabad, April 19
City Crime Branch sleuths investigating the murder of former Gujarat Home Minister Haren Pandya, have arrested five more local associates of the ISI trained assailants yesterday, Police Commissioner K. R. Kaushik said here today.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Kaushik said with the arrest of these five local contacts, total 10 persons had been arrested so far by the crime branch.

Mr Kaushik said those arrested yesterday were Afzalkhan Pathan, Idrishkhan Pathan, Mohammed Zahir, Mohammed Tariq and Mehboob Sayyad. He said further interrogation of this gang of 10 could lead to more arrests. UNI
