Mukul Joshi back as Industries Secretary
Tribune News Service

Chandigarh, April 16
Mr Mukul Joshi today joined as Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce. He was involved in an unsavoury controversy involving him and the wife of the Punjab Chief Secretary in January.

He was thereafter asked to apologise and made to proceed on leave till an enquiry against him was completed by the Financial Commissioner (Revenue) Mr Bhagat Singh.

Mr Joshi has, however, not been restored the Department of Excise and Taxation, which continues to be with Mr A.K. Dubey.

The orders posting him back were deliberately held back by the government today while it issued orders posting Ms Kusumjit Sidhu as Secretary, Irrigation and Power.
