BJP meeting on April 3

New Delhi, March 2
Following the rout in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections, the BJP has decided to hold its National Executive meeting in Indore on April 3 to prepare in advance for the Assembly elections in four states, especially Madhya Pradesh, slated for later this year and the Lok Sabha poll next year.

The executive, to be attended by Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, Deputy Prime Minister L.K. Advani and several Union ministers, will discuss the party’s electoral strategy and measures to tone up the organisation ahead of the elections, party spokesman Pramod Mahajan told newspersons here today after a meeting of central office-bearers attended by Mr Vajpayee, Mr Advani and chaired by party president M. Venkaiah Naidu.
