Pragmatic, say economists; anti-people, says LJSP

The Union Budget presented on Friday by the Finance Minister has evoked mixed response. While the internationally distinguished economists have described it as a pragmatic budget, the Lok Jan Shakti Party has termed the budget proposals anti-people.

Rs 2.14 crore budget for Gohana MC
Sonepat, March 1
The Municipal Committee, Gohana, passed an annual budget of Rs 2.14 crore for the next financial year with a voice vote on Friday. Nine out of the 17 councillors were present at the meeting of the Municipal Committee. Interestingly, five of the seven women councillors were present in the meeting.
Deve Gowda lambasts Noida Authority

Mahashivratri celebrated with fervour

Mahashivratri was today celebrated with traditional fervour with devotees
visiting temples in the Capital to pay obeisance to Lord Shiva. Special arrangements were made at the Chhattarpur temple, Shiv temple next to Hanuman Mandir at Connaught Place, Laxmi Narayan temple and Kalkaji temple where a large number of devotees offered prayers.
