Charges baseless, says India

New Delhi, January 23
Reacting to expulsions of three Indian diplomats and a staffer at the High Commission in Pakistan today, India said it was “a clear act of retaliation by Pakistan to a well-considered decision” of New Delhi.

Foreign Office spokesman Navtej Sarna said Pakistan had declared the four Indians as persona non grata “entirely on baseless and false charges”.
