25 injured in Mumbai blast

Mumbai, December 6
At least 25 persons were injured, three of them seriously, following an explosion at a popular food plaza in the crowded Mumbai Central station today, the police said. The police suspects that the explosion could be a gas-cylinder blast or blast in an air-conditioner unit. The injured include employees and customers of the newly set up McDonalds food plaza in the lobby of the station.

Mr Rakesh Maria, Railway Police Commissioner, along with top officials visited the spot and the area has been cordoned off after the explosion at around 5 p.m. the sources said. PTI
