Dulina case: 7 accused surrender

Jhajjar, November 23
Seven persons of Suhra village surrendered to the police, in a case of lynching of five Dalits at Dulina on October 15, here today in at the local rest house here in the presence of Mr Nafe Singh Rathee, Bahadurgarh MLA.

The Dulina Goraksha Sangharsh Samiti was persuading the accused to surrender following a meeting with the district administration on November 19.

The sources said that at a meeting held yesterday at the Gurukul, which was attended by all members of the samiti, and 150 villages’ representatives, 25 names were mentioned who were identified as accused in the case.

However, today at noon, some persons from Suhra village arrived in the rest house in a tractor-trailer and seven of them, identified as Hansraj son of Nyader, Vikram son of Ramswaroop, Basant son of Dalip Singh, Ashok son of Fateh Singh, Jaswant son of Dharam Singh and Ashok son of Swaroop Singh, surrendered to Deputy Superintendent of Police Narender Singh.

Majority of the accused in the case are from Suhra village.
