A tight security ring was thrown around Parliament House here this morning following a tip-off that four persons were seen moving in suspicious manner, some distance away from the complex and were likely to target it.

Five infiltrators were killed by Army personnel near the LoC in Machil sector of Kupwara district while unidentified militants shot dead two persons, including a brother of the Bandipore MLA at Baramula district in north Kashmir today.
