SHSAD quits Panthic Morcha Amritsar, September 17 Talking to the Press, Mr Gurcharan Singh Tohra, president, SHSAD, said his faction would maintain an independent identity. Mr Tohra said certain vested interests had led to the differences among the factions comprising the morcha. Serving an ultimatum on the state government, he said if Capt Amarinder Singh failed to reverse the decision regarding the withdrawl of free power supply to farmers, the SHSAD would launch an agitation at the forthcoming Chhapar Festival to be held on September 21. He said his party would not allow anybody to complete the controversial SYL canal. |
