Mumbai, June 25
Leading industrialist and Reliance Industries Chairman Dhirubhai Ambani, who was admitted to the city’s Breach Candy Hospital after suffering a brain stroke last night, has been put on life support system as his condition has been deteriorating.

Briefing newspersons in the hospital, Breach Candy’s CEO Vijay Krishnan said “The next 48 hours are crucial and a panel of doctors are constantly monitoring his health”. The stock markets here also went into a tizzy during early trading today. The fate of the Bombay Stock Exchange Sensex and the National Stock Exchange Nifty soon became linked to Mr Ambani’s condition. UNI
