300 foreigners leave Karachi

Islamabad, June 16
Over 300 foreigners have left Karachi in the aftermath of Friday’s car bomb attack near the US Consulate taking the total number of foreigners leaving Pakistan in the past few days to 13,500, a report said today.

The foreign nationals left Karachi yesterday by 19 international flights. In addition to this over 1,450 Pakistanis, most of them holding dual nationalities, also left for other countries, the Dawn said.

Over 13,500 foreigners, including 8,000 Europeans and Americans and 45 Indians have left Pakistan since May 8 after militants blew up a bus carrying French engineers and technicians. PTI
