Kabul striker Sayed Tahir (L) is tackled by Pte Bowalter of the ISAF soccer team during Kabul's biggest sporting event in years — a soccer match between players from the ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) and Kabul United — on February 15, 2002. The match ended in a 3-1 victory for the ISAF side, but the beginning of the match was marred by clashes between fans and security. The match attracted a capacity crowd of 30,000 spectators, but thousands more were locked outside the stadium.
