Consensus eludes all-party meeting

In a move to end the boycott of Parliament by the Congress on the Tehelka issue , Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee today made it clear that there was no CBI probe into allegations against Congress President Sonia Gandhi and hoped the main opposition party would attend the Budget session of Parliament beginning on Monday.

12 feared dead in HP boat mishap
Jaisinghpur (Kangra), April 14
Six persons were drowned when a boat ferrying them across the Beas river from Harsipattan to Sandhol, to attend a local fair, capsized due to overcrowding in the Jaisinghpur subdivision, today. According to PTI, the number of persons feared dead was 12.
