SRINAGAR, Jan 11 — The Hurriyat Conference today selected a team of five executive members for its proposed visit to Pakistan for holding talks with the leadership there. The Chairman, Mr Abdul Gani Bhat, and JKLF leader Mohammad Yaseen Malik have not been included in the team.

No move to invite Musharraf: PMO

Wahid backs India on Kashmir
JAKARTA, Jan 11 — Indonesia, the largest Muslim nation in the world, today backed India’s stand on Kashmir and terrorism and favoured resolution of the issue through a dialogue between New Delhi and Islamabad within the framework of the existing agreements.

HP bans constructions in tourist towns
SHIMLA, Jan 11 — The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet today ordered a complete ban on constructions in certain areas of Manali, Dalhousie, McLeodganj and Dharamsala. The Cabinet decided to discontinue the single-window system for approval of building plans in Manali, Dharamsala and Dalhousie and restored the powers to Deputy Commissioners.
