HIV THE POSITIVE APPROACH

With 3.5 million people in India infected with the virus, the HIV infection has been labelled as an "epidemic" in many developing countries like Africa, India and those in S.E. Asia. Though medical care is the basic step in combating the virus, awareness and support systems are vital, says Aradhika Sekhon.
