PM reshuffles portfolios

NEW DELHI, March 6 (PTI) — Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee today effected a minor reshuffle of portfolios of ministers following shifting of Nitish Kumar and Naveen Patnaik as Chief Ministers of Bihar and Orissa, respectively.

The Agriculture Ministry, held by Nitish Kumar, has been given to Rural Development Minister Sunderlal Patwa as additional charge, while Mines and Minerals, held by Naveen Patnaik, has been allocated to Power Minister P.R. Kumaramangalam as additional charge, a Rashtrapati Bhavan communiqué said.
