NEW DELHI, Nov 17 — A shower of sparkling meteors stormed the planet Earth past midnight Tuesday, producing a grand cosmic show watched by millions of Indians.
Nature’s Divali was enacted in the sky as tiny meteoroids left behind by comet Tempel-Tuttle streaked past, putting up a display of spectacular fireworks that sometimes appeared as fireballs and sometimes as arrows.

Seven dead, 38 hurt in J&K blasts
SRINAGAR, Nov 17 — Seven persons were killed and 38 injured in a series of four explosions in Jammu and Kashmir since yesterday.Four civilians were killed and one injured when a device planted by suspected militants went off at Madana-Surankote in Poonch district this morning.

Court seeks fresh CBI report on Rao's role in urea scam
NEW DELHI, Nov 17 — A Delhi court today sought a report from the CBI within two months regarding material available against former Prime Minister Narasimha Rao’s son Prabhakar Rao in the Rs 133-crore urea scam case while framing charges against eight accused in the case.
